Dynamics GP 2010 R2 Highlights

Microsoft recently announced that the upcoming release of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010. By upcoming release, they mean in the first half of 2011. The theme of R2 will be new business intelligence capabilities and ease-of-use features. The primary updates include:

1. Updated user interface and dashboards

2. Improved approval workflow and electronic signature capabilities

3. New fact boxes and action shortcuts, which are now connected with Microsoft Lync 2010 instant messaging windows.

Don’t feel left out, few have.

Microsoft Lync is a new communications platform that works with Active Directory, Exchange Server and SharePoint to embed various types of communication, including phone calls, into business applications and processes.
