Microsoft Promotion: Time to Transition to the Cloud

Dynamics GP Customers who are current on their annual enhancement plans are eligible for the Dynamics 365 Cloud Migration promotion that Microsoft launched August 1st, 2021.

The Migration promotion encourages customers on Dynamics GP to transition to the cloud (Dynamics 365 Business Central).

What’s being offered:

• Discounted pricing on user licenses with a three-year subscription, providing price predictability during migration to the cloud.

• Dual-access rights (concurrent on-premises and cloud use), supporting user access to Dynamics GP until the migration to Business Central is complete.

• Supports phased cloud migrations, allowing organizations to add new users through the term of the promotion.

What you need to know:

• This promotion is valid until June 30th, 2023.

• Customers have the option to transition at any time during their annual enhancement plan or closer to or at their renewal date.

• Customers will receive the equivalent number of licenses as the value of their annual enhancement plan (i.e. Annual enhancement is $2,000/year, the Customer will receive the number of licenses that equal $2,000 at the discounted rate).

• There is no timeline to complete the transition from Dynamics GP to Business Central, however making the migration within a 12-month period is recommended.

• Unlike Dynamics GP where users can share licenses, Dynamics Business Central requires named users, therefore each user requires their own licenses to access Business Central.
