New Business Central Integration with Square Payments

Introducing a new partnership between Business Central and industry leading payment platform, Square. As of October 15th, 2020, Square released their terminal API to be developed for integration with any platform. As part of that push, Square has released their take on integration with Square Payments. Getting paid quickly is crucial to the success of your business. This can be especially challenging for those businesses who collect in-person payments and online payments with different processors. This is why businesses absolutely need a simple and effective way to collect in-person payments that synchronize with their ERP system, such as Square. Here is a first look as to what this integration can look like.

Using Square’s new sleek payment terminal, your business will be able to collect payments from credit cards and debit cards in addition to apple and google pay, providing a great customer experience. All of this information will then be sent directly into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central at no additional cost.

Simply connect your terminal devices to Business Central, and all of your transactions will be automatically connected. Once the integration has been completed, new buttons within Business Central will be enabled to allow interaction with the new datum.
